Katie Mullaly, VJIL Digest Editor

Katie is from Tallahassee, FL. She attended the University of Florida, where she graduated from the Honors Program and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. At UVA, she has been involved in the UVA-JAG Liaison subcommittee of the J.B. Moore International Law Society. As a JAG liaison, Katie has worked to help better connect the law school and the neighboring U.S. Army JAG Legal Center and School, and has helped to organize two successful speaking events on military targeting and interrogation and detention operations. She has taken several courses at the JAG school, and during her 2L summer, she interned with the U.S. Army JAG Corps at Fort Campbell, KY. She is currently externing with the Army JAG Corps at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage Alaska.

In her free time, Katie enjoys boxing, watching Game of Thrones, and spending time with her elderly, temperamental cat.
