Editor in Chief

Nicholas Styles, Editor-in-Chief

Nick was born and raised in Leesburg, VA. He received a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, & Economics from Yale University in New Haven, CT. After completing his undergraduate degree, Nick spent two years working as a consultant in Washington, DC, before heading down to Charlottesville to begin his course of study at UVA Law. In addition to his work with VJIL, Nick has been involved with the Virginia Law & Business Society, the Virginia Sports Law Society, and the Virginia Law Wine Society (of which he is currently President). Last year, he served as an Articles Editor on VJIL before being elected Editor-in-Chief in April of 2018. This summer, Nick will work in Washington, DC, at Fried Frank LLP. In his free time, Nick enjoys racquetball, exploring vineyards around Charlottesville, cheering for the Washington Capitals, and spending time with friends and family.
