Clare Myers, Research & Projects Editor

Clare is originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She earned a B.A. in history at the University of Dallas, where she also studied journalism and (briefly) became a member of the Vatican City Press Corps. After graduating, she worked as an au pair in Madrid, Spain, and as a counselor and advocate for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking in San Jose, California. At the University of Virginia School of Law, she is a Dillard Fellow and has participated in the Human Rights Study Project in Burma (Myanmar). She currently serves as the President of the St. Thomas More Society and Co-President of Outdoors at Virginia Law. In addition, she has served on the executive boards of the Public Interest Law Association and the Student Legal Forum. When she isn’t studying in the VJIL Office drinking all of the LaCroix, Clare enjoys distance running, dry cappuccinos, and calligraphy.
